The 2011 Bob K. Taylor Family Reunion took place at Redmesa Colorado from June 16th through the 18th.  The theme was Long Hollow Memories because the old family home in the Long Hollow canyon is due to be destroyed later this summer to make room for a dam that will store up to 5000 acre feet of water to help stabilize irrigation water supplies for SW Colorado and NW New Mexico.  The dam site is just upstream from the old home right where Government Hollow and Long Hollow Creek merge.  The family had part of its activities at the old home and had all meals prepared from Mom's original Taylor recipes.  We thought that appropriate since Mom and Dad spend 50 of their 52 years together here in the Long Hollow home! The menus included Mom's porcupine balls, Italian green salad, pancakes, scrambled eggs with sausage, stacked enchiladas, rice pudding, sandwiches on homemade bread, just to name a few . . . We have decided to continue the custom and each reunion will feature Mom's cooking!! My sister has a recipe book she will share with us filled with Mom's goodies! Can't wait!

Meanwhile, enjoy the picture selection! I could have loaded more and may later! I took about 400 pictures and will be collecting more from some family members who wish to share their stash!
